Japanese Drama: Hotaru no Hikari

I have been watching another very interesting Japanese drama at (http://www.mysoju.com/hotaru-no-hikari/). I was attracted to the drama by its simple and light-hearted story line and also because one of my favourite actors Fujiki Naohito stars in the drama. This drama broadcasted in Japan in July 2007 and is about a girl who falls in love for the first time and she did not know what to do. She relies on her friend, her boss, her landlord, her housemate who is the only one person to help her. Every detail of the feeling of being in love can be seen from the main character Amemiya Hotaru (Ayase Haruka).

The funny part about Hotaru is that even though she is in her 20s, she has no interest in finding love and all her spare time is spent at home being lazy and messy. She works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous and none of her colleagues know about it.

This all comes as a shock to the new home owner - also her boss Takano Seiichi (Fujiki Naohito), who is forced out of his wife's home and comes to live at his father's house. He was shocked at the mess in the house and also at Hotaru living there. His father had gone overseas and had rented the house to Hotaru without his knowledge. Hotaru is very happy with her lifestyle until one day she falls in love with Teshima Makoto (Kato Kazuki), an employee in the company. Adapting to the changes in the house she rented and at the same time perusing her love, thus start a comedy love story.
