The Twilight Saga - Stephenie Meyer (Box Set Available at Kinokuniya)

I wrote about the Twilight series in my previous article : (http://ladyjansneverland.blogspot.com/2008/11/twilight-movie-and-novel-series.html) and have been hoping to read all 4 books in the series but i have been unable to borrow the books from the library as it is so popular that even if i reserved online i would have to wait quite awhile. Hubby found out that Kinokuniya has the box set for $149.80 and there is a 25% discount for members under its Christmas promotions and bought me the whole set for $112.35 :>

I can't wait to find the time to start reading and i have alot of other interesting books waiting for me. There are alot of discounts offered by all the big bookstores like PageOne, Borders and now Kinokuniya (20% storewide for members now till 29 December 2008) during this festive season and readers like me are really benefiting from all those promotions and discounts. I bought 5 chick lit novels at PageOne on Saturday as members were given 30% discount for full-priced books. Hubby bought J.K Rowling's latest book " The Tales of Beedle The Bard" and got a 30% discount using its promotion coupon and the book came with a free cute owl soft toy.

You can find out more informations about "The Twilight Saga Box Set" promotion at Kinokuniya's website: http://www.kinokuniya.com.sg/site/?m=100&f=130&p1=1061784446&p2=1155867225&p3=1227758824 for those who are interested. It is really a good buy for fellow fans of the series and book collectors and is more worthwhile than buying all the 4 books seperately.

hi,

I chance upon your blog and read about your trip to Korea. In your entry, you mentioned about buying the face shop mask. Can i ask how much are the masks retailing in Korea in sgd(an estimation)?
I'm asking because my friend is going there, so asking her to get some back.

Thanks in advance.

hi,

you are so lucky to have friend going Korea who can help you buy the products :> I would stock up on alot of Face Shop products if i have friends going Korea too as it is so much cheaper than buying in Singapore. I can't recall the exact amount but it is almost half price compared to in Singapore.
