Japanese Drama - Ryusei no Kizuna

In my previous post (http://ladyjansneverland.blogspot.com/2009/01/japanese-drama-grand-prix-ryusei-no.html), i had wrote about how this drama was the big winner for the fall 2008 Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix survey. Based on the popular novel written by popular author Keigo Higashino, this interesting TBS 2008 (10 episodes) drama "Ryusei no Kizuna" tells the story of three orphans, whose parents were murdered long ago. At the age of 11, Ariake Koichi discovers his parents brutally murdered in their home. Furthermore, Koichi must tell his two younger siblings the aweful truth about their parents disappearance. Together, the three vowed on a shooting star to one day avenge their parents. They bonded together as a team of swindlers, stealing money from the rich.

After many years, the two brothers Koichi (Ninomiya Kazunari) and Ariake Taisuke (Nishikido Ryo) have found the murderers, and are set to carry out their plan for vengeance when they realize they've made a serious miscalculation; you see, their sister Ariake Shizuna (Toda Erika) ... The theme song for the drama is "Beautiful Days" by Arashi. Mika Nakashima also stars in this drama and she plays a character that was not in the original story - a mysterious woman who is a regular customer at the restaurant where the oldest brother Koichi works. Her first appearance is in the show's second episode. You can watch the drama online at http://www.mysoju.com/ryusei-no-kizuna/.
