Yummy 611 Tau Sar Piah From Sembawang Shopping Centre

I have been frequenting this Tau Sar Piah stall (B1-13, 10am-10pm daily) since it opened in Sembawang Shopping Centre recently and likes it crispy skin and sweet fillings. The stall was featured in "The Sunday Times" newspaper, 12 April 2009 edition.

This is a specialist tau sar piah or flaky Chinese pastry shop, which sells traditional sweet and salty tau sar piah (80 cents each) and new flavours such as durian lotus (which is my favourite), coffee, red bean and green tea lotus (90 cents each). I normally buy 6 tau sar piahs in a box for $5 and it can last me for several days. Do remember to put the tar sar piahs in the fridge if you wish to keep for more than 2 days and just bake it in the oven for 5-10 minutes when you want to eat it so that the tau sar piah still stays crispy and yummy.
