Lipstick Jungle

I have recently started watching the first season of this interesting drama "Lipstick Jungle" after reading its review in a magazine awhile ago. It is definitely a must watch for fellow fans of the popular drama and movie "Sex & The City" as this drama is based on another hit novel by "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell. "Lipstick Jungle" is a drama that follows the professional and personal lives of three best friends, all of whom are top professionals in their respective careers. It shows how these three powerful career women are willing to do almost anything for success in the business world and the problems they face in their career by being a woman, mother, wife.

Victory Ford (Lindsay Price) is a fashion designer, single, attractive, and iconoclastic, she has worked for years to create her own signature line. As Victory struggles to keep her company afloat, she learns crucial lessons about what she really wants in a relationship. Nico Reilly (Raver) is the editor-in-chief of Bonfire Magazine. Considered one of the most powerful women in publishing, she seems to have it all. But in a mid-life crisis, she suddenly realizes this isn’t enough. Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields) is the former president of Parador Pictures and is now producing independently. When it becomes clear that a competitor is trying to oust her, something has to give -- and Wendy must decide between her career and her marriage.






These three powerful women are always there to support one another and navigate the crazy, romantic, and sometimes scary world that is New York City. I love the actress who acted as Victory as she looks so cute and pretty in the drama and her character is very endearing as she is not afraid to show her emotions and would just cry whenever she feels like it even in front of the man she just started dating. Her romance with billionaire Joe is so fairy tale like and it is really every girl's dream to be able to just zoom off to a romantic and beautiful place like Paris just for breakfast with a private jet!!!
