Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games

YOG

Singapore is hosting the first Youth Olympic Games (YOG) and i'm tempted to watch some of the games but most of the tickets are already sold out for the games that i'm interested in like volleyball, football and diving. Guess i will have to catch the games on TV, i should have bought the tickets early...but at least Starhub is showing the games live :>

I went to Stamford Road earlier to help my brother take pictures as he was one of the torchbearers for the Singapore Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame (JYOF). Today is Day 6 and the final day of the torch relay. The Youth Olympic Flame was lit in Olympia, Greece on 23 July and journeyed to Berlin (Germany), Dakar (Senegal), Mexico City (Mexico), Auckland (New Zealand), Seoul (Republic of Korea) before arriving in Singapore on 7 August. The Singapore leg of the JYOF has 2,400 torchbearers covering 305km, or six times the length of Singapore.
