Lovely Phuket Trip :)

Lovely day everyone :) hubby and i went for a short holiday last week at the lovely island of Phuket in Thailand and am back recharged and refreshed :) heehee whenever i think of the word recharged, i think of my beloved Dokko Jin! For fans of Korean drama "The Greatest Love" you will know what i'm referring to ;) I love the stay at Novotel Phuket at Patong and it was great that we did not choose the room with sea view as it was really far from the lovely swimming pool and i can just spend the whole day lazing there with a good book... Our garden view room was near to the swimming pool and i get to swim everyday. I can still see the sea from our room, just not all of it but still it was really lovely waking up each morning and looking at the beautiful sea. It rained while we were there but we were lucky that it either rained at night while we were sleeping or just an hour during the day time.

I LOVE the aromatherapy massage at the hotel and went for 2 days and feel really relaxed after that. I love the food at the hotel too especially its breakfast and Mexican dinner buffet and we did not really venture out much to try out the food outside and spend most of our time relaxing at the swimming pool and beach. We made a trip to the Jungeceylon shopping centre nearby taking the hotel shuttle bus and it can only carry 7 people per trip so its best to make reservation in advance if you wish to take the bus from the hotel.

For those going to Phuket, i highly recommends the Novotel Phuket if you prefer a nice quiet holiday as it is near the quieter side of Patong Beach although if you prefer to be near the bustling area of Patong where its more crowded and happening, Holiday Inn is a good choice recommended by my cousin who loves going to Phuket. Maybe i will give Holiday Inn a try the next time i go back to Phuket as i'm definitely going back again ;) It was so relaxing not to worry about packing my luggage as i did not do much shopping there and it was a nice for a change after the shopping trip to Tokyo last year where i shopped like crazy and had to worry about how to fit everything into my luggage ;p Do check out the pictures i took below with my Iphone 4 of beautiful Phuket . My Canon camera chose to go on strike before i go on the trip and i was too lazy to go to its service centre at Harbourfront which is so far but i could still take beautiful pictures with my Iphone 4 :)

Breakfast onboard Silkair and will reach Phuket in 1 hour and 45 minutes from Singapore. The pilot was real cute and informed the passengers to look out for Phi Phi island when the plane was reaching Phuket and he even gave us a brief history about some of the places along the flying route:)
