Review Of Shiseido Perfect UV Protector

It is really important to apply sufficient sunscreen before you step out of your home and especially so in Singapore where the weather is always hot and sunny throughout the year. I love Shiseido and Clarins sunscreen for its non-oily, lightweight and liquid texture which feels really comfortable and non sticky when i applied it on my face and they will always be the skincare brands i turn to when getting a good quality sunscreen product.

Shiseido has recently launched a new product - Global Suncare Perfect UV ProtectorIt is a very water-resistant sun protection lotion that provides reliable defense against UV rays while offering advanced skincare benefits. It is ideal for the face and body, and especially formulated for strong sunlight conditions

The Perfect UV Protector protects skin from UVA/UVB rays and helps reduce signs of photo-aging with exclusive SuperVeil-UV 360 technology. It is formulated with Profense CEL, a complex of ingredients that inhibits enzyme activity and damage to cells and DNA— factors linked to the formation of wrinkles and dark spots. It also contains Thiotaurine and Rose Apple Leaf Extract, proven to counteract oxidation. It absorbs quickly and feels comfortable on skin. You can also use the sunscreen as a makeup base to help your makeup last longer and it also promotes a smoother application of foundation.

I managed to get a 2ml sample last week at Metro Woodlands and i was told by the beauty consultant that i can use the sunscreen when i'm doing water sports as it is very water resistant. Cleansing is also easy as you do not need to use makeup removers like cleansing oil and can just remove the sunscreen with basic cleanser.

I managed to try the sample when i went swimming yesterday. The sunscreen is really light and liquid in texture and application was really easy as it absorbs quickly into my skin and does not leave a whitish streak on my face like some sunscreen does. It also does not make my face look oily and my skin feels so comfortable and soft that it does not feel like i had applied 2ml of sunscreen on my face ;) I spent about 45 minutes swimming under the hot sun and i'm happy to report that i did not get sunburn and it was a really great workout. I highly recommend this new sunscreen for those who loves doing water sports and it is less costly than Clarins sunscreen (S$74) and equally as good for those who do not wish to spend too much money on sunscreen. I'm planning to get the new Shiseido sunscreen for swimming and it cost S$59/- and is available at all Shiseido counters.
